Chengdu Xinzhu Road & Bridge Machinery Co., Ltd, founded in 2001 with its registered capital of 733 million yuan and headquarter located in Xinjin Industrial Park in Chengdu, Sichuan, was listed on Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2010 under stock code 002480. In August of 2018, Sichuan Development Holding Co.,Ltd., a state-owned enterprise in Sichuan Province, became the controlling shareholder of the company. Xinzhu Corporation then emerged as a listed company with mixed ownership.

Xinzhu, a national hi-tech enterprise, a leading enterprise in the rail transit industry in Chengdu City and in Sichuan Province and a key local enterprise directly supported by Chengdu Municipality, was included in the list of "Double Hundred Actions" for the reform of state-owned enterprises in 2019.
